Let windows 10 install it's own drivers and updates which can take hours, because otherwise I get blue screens or corruption. Though I had to retrain some brains that made templates and had gotten used to editing first then "saving as" instead of saving a copy first then editing. ![]() The amount of times this has saved someone that wasn't paying attention to their battery level alone made it worth it. 1TB of storage.why not use it? Now they also have it on any computer they are logged in at (with a small time frame to sync docs across) and even their mobile device's OneDrive app.Įdit: the other added benefit to this, versus letting OneDrive just casually backup the docs folder through its general method is it turns all the docs held within to live docs, where every keystroke is then saved just like a google doc. When they save something to the "docs" folder it's now instantly backed up to OneDrive. So take this with a bit of salt, but I don't see why this couldn't work in bigger outfits.Ĭhange the location of the Documents folder to the OneDrive folder. Just to note I manage a small sub 50 end user environment.
